Wow, as far as World Welfare is concerned, this might be HUGE. Thanks for this very upbeat news. I'm proud to be a retiree of good old Lockheed Martin (25 years there).
As far as applicability to the trail, who knows, but a 1-atom thick membrane cannot be cheap!

Actually graphene production is making leaps and bounds these days. I wouldnt be surprised if the a few years out, that the membranes are reasonably priced
