Are there any hostels between Hot Springs, NC and Erwin, Tn?

i walked there from trail. don't remember roads or signs. i was snowing. i used my map.

HH is 1.5 miles north of Allen Gap,hang a left then .6 mile.Or about 15 miles north of Hot Springs.

Won't be too long there will be a hostel at every gap:eek:.....

mm 288.1 Log Cabin Drive. it will be a dirt road with a parking area with one house at the end, turn away from that house & head @ .5 miles in the opposite direction to the hostel, I've stayed there, they have a great cafe & superb coffee & tea selection + thet sell it by the oz or lb & they'll even bounce it up the trail to ya :cool:

Hemlock Hollow is a bit close to Hot Springs for most going NOBO, but can be handy for a SOBO.
There is also Greasy Creek Friendly which is a little closer to half way between HS and Erwin. Is the crazy nieghbor still at it? If so, he's the crack of dawn alarm clock.

Sorry, my memory failed me. Greasy Creek is a 1 or 2 days north of Erwin. Still, an interesting place to visit and if nothing else, buy a burger.
So, Hemlock remains the only hostel between HS and Erwin.
