I use a marmot helium 15 for winter and looking for a quilt to use when my wife comes along mainly spring and summer in Ga-Va AT. I'm thinking about a 30-40 enlightened rev or rev x?

If you are crafty and have access to a sewing machine, I've seen some hikers make really nice warm-weather quilts using synthetic insulation. Good luck. :)

One has options for lighter fabrics with water repellent coatings. If money isn't a factor, go with the Revelation.

I made a Ray Jardine quilt from a kit, and I've purchased a Revelation X from Enlightened Equipment. Both are solid choices. The Jardine quilt uses synthetic insulation, the Revelation is down.

Check into the Zpacks quilt. They even sell quilts for two. There 40 degree quilt for two is less then 20oz.

Enlightened Equipment also sells quilts for two although it is not noted on their website.

I second the Zpacks.... they are filled and priced well. My friend has one and I am waiting for my 20deg one to arrive for my April start!

I just started using Enlightened Equipment quilts...love them! Great quality, custom colors, and very light. I would highly recommend them. Sara is right. Heck, I bet he would make you a 4 person quilt if you asked nicely :)
