CT/MA late June

I am planning on hiking from CT/NY border to Katahdin with a starting date of June 15th. Will there be many NOBO on the trail at this time?

You will be a little early for the brunt of "the bubble", but there will be plenty of other hikers on the trail by the 15th

Hardly any. You'll be a good 4-6 weeks ahead of most thru-hikers.

Not too many NOBO thruhikers but as you make your way north, you'll start meeting the SOBOs. And you'll also meet lots of mosquitoes.
