I just got this today. The Toccoa Riverside Restaurant which is right on the BMT and one of my favorite stops has been re-built and is open again. You may remember that last year it burned to the ground. Here is a link to the new restaurant website: http://www.toccoariversiderestaurant.com/
Is the hostel across the road still in business?

Hey Rock that great... but IMO restaurants come and go... Sincerely I hope it works out.
plan to eat there Wednesday evening for the first time since reopening. Our cabin is just a few miles from there and it is the closest restaurant without going into Blue Ridge. Hope it's as good as before!

I think the hostel is still open. I met "Someday", the woman now hiking the GET with Hobo, south of the restaurant. She said she stayed at a hostel the night before and I think it was close to the restaurant. The restaurant has a great view and good food. I would not want to go there if I were on a tight budget though.

I went by the Toccoa Riverside Restaurant less than two wks ago on a Sun. It was early - like before 9 a.m. The place was closed but looked like it was ready for biz from the outside. I could smell the joe brewing up the street so bee-lined it there.
Yeah, Iron Bridge Cafe(wonder why they call it that?) had some good coffee and good scones.
