i was surfing the web and came across this backpacker mfg site, it looks pretty interesting http://thewildernesswanderer.com/
and the prices are, well they're not econimical for most hikers.....

No more kookie than the Moonbow Gearskin...same concept.
Good God with the prices, though.
i've got a dana design longbed i've been thinking about taking the pack off the frame and just putting stuff sacks to it. that thing is built like a sherman tank.
but i think the designer of that backpack thinks his stuff is made out of gold, though it is used for big game hauling....
It looks like he took an external frame and attached three duffel bags to it. For almost $700??!!?? ridiculous....

The fanny pack the company offers costs more than any piece of gear I own, with the sole exception of my tent. I also agree that it looks like he field stripped a walmart external frame pack and attached a few school tote bags to it.
beyond belief, i think i'll email the cat and tell him what a bunch of malarky he is....
what do you think, is he selling these things or not?
