Looking to spend a week on GA section of AT early/mid May this year. What sort of weather/temps should I prepare for ?
Weather can vary greatly, typical pattern would be 70's daytime 40's at night. T-storms are common and when they roll thru temps can drop. Humidity is usually not to bad this time of year.

What section are you doing? We are going from Neels to Deep Creek NC over 5 days to finish out GA. We are planning on doing our trip lat may around Memorial Day.

Looking to start at Three Forks and head north for as far as I can get in a week.
