I'm looking for a 6 quart/liter pot in lightweight aluminum. I've found 8 qt. pots and even found a 6 quart Evernew TI pot but it was $145!
Any suggestions?

Nope.
But if you go to Harbour Freight, and buy a 4pot Stainless Stockpot set, with 20%coupon it will be about $18 after tax.
It contains 6,8,10, and 12 qt pots, or something like that

The 6, is really~ 5.5. But it only weighs 15oz, very thin SS. You wont find a lighter aluminum pot most likely.

We, in Australia, have cheap and relatively light aluminium pots sold by disposal/ex military type stores and car camping stores. This kind :

I don't know the weight of that one but the 1.3L version is 5 oz

Open Country has 4 quart and 10 quart aluminum pots, cheap at campmor.

Yard sales and ebay would probably find you something also.
