Specifically micropur tablets? Is it normal if the water turns to a slight greenish/yellowish tinted color? Thanks!

Can't speak for micropur, but no, chlorine dioxide shouldn't tint the water. Hmm....does it have a strong chlorine smell, like a swimming pool?

The chlorine dioxide may be reacting with metal ions in the water. See what happens with another water source, or better yet, distilled water.

You didn't discuss what the water source color was. A lot of tannic 'black water' backcountry water sources yield yellowish water to begin with.

Chlorine dioxide itself has a strong yellow color, which is apparent when you mix the A and B solutions of Aqua Mira, but you usually won't see it once you've mixed it in the water. But a quick troll using Google shows that there are others who report the yellow color with Micropur tablets.

Yes, a light yellow color. I use Micropur all the time.

Chemically, there is no chlorine in chlorine dioxide. The chlorine loses it properties when it combines with oxygen. Therefore it will not yield a chlorine odor.

Yes, there is a slight tint to the water when putting AM drops in, the liq. mix is bright yellow.

Depends on your mixing ratio and source water. Alkaline (high in minerals) will react with the chlorine. I have seen Aqua Mira treated water give off a blue to green hint of color. Mix or shake your water for even distribution of the chemicals, and check effectiveness date on your chemicals.
