The GMC, from what little I know about them, is a very good club, This is not directly related to your post, but I am going to say it. I recently joined GMC on a yearly basis, as I hope to do the Long Trail sometime soon. Also, as finances allow for I hope to join most of the clubs on a yearly or life basis. I was able to upgrade my ATC membership, to life membership 2 years ago and am glad I did, and I am also a yearly PTC club member, the PTC is also something I have been wanting to do for sometime.
I think joining these clubs that one agree's with, will help secure a future for our trails.
