NEW BOOK: The Appalachian Trail: Celebrating America's Hiking Trail, Foreword by Bill Bryson, Appalachian Trail Conservancy, n.d., Rizzoli Itn'l. Publications, New York, N.Y.
This seems to have just come out a few weeks ago. I saw a couple of copies lately at Barnes and Noble and now have one as a gift from a wonderful friend. This book measures about 11 inches square and is over an inch thick. It's 336 pp., are filled with photos of the AT. Also, In the back flap of the cover is a wall map of the AT. It is a grand book and if you don't have one you might like to pick one up. If you have hiked the AT you might find yourself in one of the pictures! It's a beautiful book and I am sure it will be a hit with all who look it over. When you get a spare moment and some spare cash you might want to pick yourself up a copy of this sure-to-be unique book. Good job Appalachian Trail Conservancy! :)
