My Foster Can Singed inside, trouble?

Hi,

I bought the Trail Designs Caldera Keg F Stove System:

I accidentally had the Foster beer can over the alcohol fire, without anything in it, & it started to smoke. Turns out I singed a little bit of the inside liner (the liner that all cans are lined with). I singed about a 1 inch long by 1/8 inch wide area, of the bottom.

My question is, is this Foster can now poisonous to boil water in anymore?

I say you are good to go. Send an email to trail designs and ask them. They are good guys and will probably send you a new one no charge.
