Apparently the original "netrail.org" website is no more (which unfortunately sucks because it had a lot of amazing trail maps on it). I'm reasonably perplexed, though. The original NET was suppose to range at it's southernmost from Connecituct, and Rhode Island, intersect in Worcester, and dart straight up to Mont Mégantic in Quebec. However, I've seen nothing about the NET in recent past Mount Monadnock. It seems like it just ends there now, at least according to the Wikipedia article. Can someone help me out here? I would really enjoy being able to just walk straight to Quebec from my house without getting lost in New Hampshire.

If you search archive.org (the wayback machine) for netrail.org you get old copies of the web site:

Ryan Linn thru-hiked it in 2009 and wrote a long trip report; he would be a good resource to contact.

It sounds like the organizers ran out of steam, but since it links up existing trails, it should still work. There are road walks in NH south of the Whites, but it still sounds like a great hike to me.

There may be some gaps in Conn. I think Driver8 has hiked in those areas.
