How are the other 2 hotels (Plaza Motel and Holiday Motor Lodge)? Heading there this weekend. Does either one have good laundry facilities, free breakfast, or significantly nicer?

I'm not all that interested in staying at the Hostel.

Hey... I saw your post on the other thread... sorry I don't have any info on these two places... hopefully someone on here will know something.

in my opinion the plaza is the better of the two..for a $5 fee they wash and fold your laundry. no free meals at either place. #540-921-2591, ask for gay

I was just in Pearisburg a week ago, stayed at the Plaza Motel, and I would recommend it, great place, good price and location. I did my laundry at EZ Laundry, small laundromat just a 10 minute walk from the motel.

I stayed at the plaza 3 nights ago and liked it. It's clean and the owner is very hiker friendly.

I'm back, Stayed in the Plaza Motel on Monday,
Pros:
it was cheap and clean. $55 for a 2-person, 2-bed smoking (All they had at the time)
Had laminate floors, so no worrying about ruining carpet with muddy shoes.
Had a 30" flat screen mounted on the wall.

Cons:
No Laundry onsite, but not a bad walk to the l-mat.
No fridge or ice bucket. (Bought the beer cold at Food Lion)
No shampoo. (Which pariticularly bothered me, as I have long hair, and a small bar of soap just isn't sufficient.)
