Investors in the company can buy one of these shirts for $98. I guess it's a good bet I won't find one of these shirts in my local discount store.

I go with Pendeltons, mostly American made and classic styling. 100% wool and can be hand washed but they come at a price, usually >$100.

Some hikers don't take a shower for 100 days and they don't think they stink either.

Boy, I'd like to see an actual sniff test after 100 days of hiking in the heat of summer, sweating up the thing. Contestants could only bathe their head and and then from the waste down :D Then attempt to enter an eating establishment well away from the trail.

Tell me about it! 100 days hiking without washing the same shirt you wear everyday hiking - huhhh! LOL. Even if you had two of these wool shirts over a 100 day period! huhhh! LOL Really, Really, WHY do people feel the need to have a shirt you don't wash for 100 days while hiking? There isn't that BIG of a water shortage. It's similar to the mindset of those that want to do the entire Long Trail without a resupply. Like doing a resupply or washing a shirt is a BIG DEAL in the big scheme of things. I guess it can be expected in a culture that has pet meds delivered to the front door, automatic power door locks and windows and opening sliding doors, and is infatuated with NEARLY EVERYTHING occurring in the least amount of time!

The hundred days thing may be a bit much, but these shirts do look interesting. Maybe the production models will be cheaper, and even come in tall sizes.
