After almost 15 years with my penny stove I think you have convinced me to try the starlyte stove. I'll be working on that this weekend.
I have wanted to get the Fosters Caldera cone but ended up getting a Sol Ti. Have you used it only with alcohol or did you get the wood burning setup as well?
Yes, only with alcohol. I have a DIY titanium set-up for wood fuel.
Moytoy, give it a try. They are built well and will serve you well for many years.

Very interesting. I love the Swedish Trangia stove and other variations of the Penny Stove but this is a neat concept
