I'm hiking NOBO from the Ga/Nc line starting May 22-24. Are there quite a few hikers on the AT then? Not so much thru-hikers but general AT hikers. Will the Shelters and camping areas be fairly busy? Wondered what to expect. Planning to hike thru to Erwin Tn.

Uh its right before Memorial Weekend. Should be pretty nuts
