food drop

Will be leaving for my section hike soon and was looking for advice got a food drop.. I will start out with 3 days of food.. Will be starting at pine grove furnace and will end in harpers ferry.. Thank you for your help..

Let me try this again, I am looking for a good place for a food drop.. Any advice would be greatly appreciated... Also I am traveling with 2 other people..hopefully this makes more since..

I think you are talking about a mail drop as opposed to a food cache or an air drop. If it is a mail drop I recommend the free state hiker hostel. Its .3 miles off the trail about 40 some miles from your starting point. If you stay there for the night they will forgo the 2 dollar handling fee. It's a good place to stop anyway. They have a web page.
