You guys may remember, that a few years ago I wrote a play:

https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/408424_10101268572861740_567863999_n.jpg

We open on Wed. (http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/showthread.php?50420-First-ever-%28as-far-as-I-know%29-Play-about-the-AT!)

We're sponsored by Osprey, Leki, Gear to Go Outfitters, the ATC and the NYNJTC.

You can buy your tickets here. (http://northtomaine2013.brownpapertickets.com/) enter the code ATC2013 and a portion of the ticket price will be donated to the ATC.

Here's a link to a recent interview I gave about the show:

If anyone is in the NYC area, we'd love to see you out for the World Premiere run. :)

How long is it running?

How long is it running?

Probably the same as it is walking.

Sounds like giving us the answer to that question was important.

Best of luck with the show!

The show runs about 2 and a half hours, with an intermission. ALSO: apparently there's a bug in the "Donate $1 to the ATC" promo code which is ATC2013.

Brown Paper Tickets says the donation is only for the first night. That's not correct, the donation applies to every ticket sold.

Being relatively new to WhiteBlaze I hadn't heard about this. Being a theatre person myself, I am absolutely excited. This very well may be an absolutely wonderful show. I'm disappointed I won't be able to see it, but I wish many broken legs to everyone involved!

It doesn't have a "mooning the cog" scene, but it DOES feature "Aggressive Male Nudity" so you will probably see a butt or two at one point or another. :p

P.S. while we're talking about mooning the Cog train, nop one told me that if you do it, the conductor will start throwing coal at you like he's a Nintendo boss. :)

At the " C.O.W. " Theater . [ Stands for : " Celebration Of Whimsy " ] . Basement of a building on Clinton Street in the Bowery .
I think just two weeks : June 3 - 17 . About $ 20 . I hope it comes out on DVD , as I may find it difficult to get up there !

Hey Brent, Damien here (you stayed at our home in Maine en-route to Katahdin!). Congratulations on the play, and the great review! Wish I was somewhere closer to see it, actually we will be in NYC on July 2nd, but probably much too late. We have since been inspired to attempt our own hike of the trail in 2014.
