Damascus/Pearisburg

Travelling over from Indiana. So what our my options for getting on the trail at either end and back home. Greyhound/possible shuttles to the trail or back to starting location. Willing to go either NOBO or SOBO just unsure the best option to get on and off the trail and back to Indiana.
I assume this section is about a 12-14 day trip --correct?
What sleep gear would u take on this section in June/July?

you need to google megabus..there is a stop in indianapolis. find the route that takes you to christiansburg, va.(33 miles east of pearisburg). then shuttle to the trail(i can do that). 540-921-RIDE(7433) don

Tawa, 12-14 days should be about right. I'm starting about 50 miles north of Damascus and going to Pearisburg starting June 17. I'm using a 40 degree sleeping bag, much more would be over kill, and leave you hot! If you're driving, then park at either end, and get a shuttle. Good Luck!
