Would any one have a list of the companies offering organic freeze dried food. I have tried Mary Janes and I did enjoy it, just trying to find online retailers that have a wider selection than REI and backcountry.com

try www.nitro-pak.com (http://www.nitro-pak.com) for a variety of products. also if you go to www.jetboil.com (http://www.jetboil.com) and look at their faq's they list several suppliers.

Yeah, all of the usual suspects tear my stomach up; organic options are like I am eating regular food

Harmony House?

The statement they make on the web site is:

The process of becoming approved to make the "organic" claim is a lengthy one. If you have not completed the process, you cannot even label items as "organic" even if they are. While we are working through the process we can assure you that we sell ONLY the best ingredients in the marketplace today. No one can match our quality. ALSO, all our products are 3'rd party audited and tested and are guaranteed free from any heavy metals, chemicals, or pesticides.
