wondering has anyone hiked thru Woody Gap in GA lately, was wondering if the springs is flowing just down the blue blaze ... just north of Woody Gap road crossing. I'm going to do a short AFSP to Neels Gap section hike up that way next week.

I was just north of Woody yesterday and there was plenty of water everywhere.
I concur with the post above that water is flowing at Woody. We have had so much rain this year everything is running strong between Springer and Neels.

I heard on TV news a couple nites ago that Atlanta has received 10 inches more rain than average so far this year. I wouldn't worry about water anywhere in GA yet.
