I'm planning a hike for Sept, thinking of leaving a vehicle in Manchester Center, shuttle to Glencliff and sobo back to Manchester. then shuttle to Lee, MA and nobo back. Any recommendations on shuttle?

believe it or not the public transportation in this area is pretty good - at least they have one. Not sure about crossing the borders, but I've had very good luck hitching in this area. Never an issue and i've never waited too long. There are also taxis in this area that will make the trip - price would have to be negotiated.
link to the hostel in Manchester and the bus line for VT.

from manchester center you can take the red bus as far north as rutland, at station you can change to another red bus that will take you the rte 4 crossing in VT. they cost a couple bucks each.

Mark Shaw is the person you want to shuttle you from Manchester Center to Glencliff. Dave Ackerson is a good option from Manchester Center to Lee,MA. Contact info for these folks can be found on our website.
