Check out the moon tonight, it is supposed to be 15% bigger as it is the closest it will be for the year.

That was a truly horrifying experience... The thought that kept running through my head is that these people learned this "fashion" from somewhere... What if they have toned it down a notch? Aaaaccckkkk!

the moon was great last night, i trekked all over the grayson highlands in the dark, no headlamp.

It was great until I pitched my tent and went to bed and another group of night hikers spooked a herd of horses and they almost trampled me to death in my tent.

Yikes, that's no joke Topshelf

yeah no kidding, i was in between the AT and the Wilburn ridge trail, i woke up because i heard hooves running through the brush, all of a sudden i see ponies whizzing by on both sides of the tent. close enough one kicked one of my tent guylines.

i just curled up in the fetal position. the guys were laughing after, when i hollered they took off.
