For years hikers have gone to the Whistle Stop restaurant at VT103 just north of Clarendon gorge. They have closed and are looking for new owners.
Just a few tenths of a mile (on VT103) past the Whistle Stop is the East Clarendon General Store now known as Loretta's Deli. They have new owners are a very hiker friendly. Mrs Gorp has spoken to them about what resupply items hikers are looking for. Very favorable reviews from the class of 2013.
