View Full Version : Dicks Creek to Tesnatee Gap
Left off the trail at Testnatee, and am thinking of going from Dicks Creek to Testnatee. Is this about a three day hike, two and a half maybe? It took us two and a half days from Springer to Neel Gap, earlier this month ( we then did a short hike from Testnatee to Neel, while waiting for our ride).

It would be 4 days for some. 3 days for others. 2 days for many, 1.5 days for a few, and 1 day for a select few.

Its about 31 miles I think. Id plan 2.5 days, if it took you 2.5 days to do the same distance to Neel gap.
You could do this fairly leisurely by hiking 3 days and spending 2 nights. Lot's of places to spend the night -- shelter or campsites. Plenty of water. Check out this mileage calculator.

Yeah, I figured there wasn't an answer per say, and that it's pretty individualized, but am thinking of doing a long Memorial Day weekend hike, and want to make sure we'd have enough time.
