The search in Maine continues for an experienced hiker from Tennessee who has been lost in a rugged portion of the Appalachian Trail for over a week. The hunt is being conducted by the Maine Warden Service who is now seeking help from the state Association of Search and Rescue. 66 year old Geraldine Largay did contact her husband during a certain point of her hike, but she did not meet him the next day as planned. Officials say that the logistical and physical challenges involved in scouring the remote terrain has restricted its ability to use untrained volunteers.
