How is the water situation between I-26/Sams Gap and Erwin Tn?

This is my home turf but I haven't been on the trail lately. However, we've had crazy amounts of rain lately. So I would imagine you could throw a rock and hit a water source.

I have been through that section several times and water has never been an issue.
FOR DRINKING OR BOATING? If you are worried about getting enough to drink and you are hiking any time soon you will have no problems. I was in the area yesterday, plenty of water.
