I frequent this area and live about fifteen minutes from the Culver's lake rt 206 crossing. I can also see the High Point monument in the distance if I go to my local town. If there are any thru-hikers or section hikers who need assistance feel free to email me here. There is one local hospital and a few motels close to the trail along rt 206 not mentioned in the guide book (the 2010 one, I will have my new 2013 one in a week). ~current trail angel Symba (until my two month section begins in three to four weeks).
