I am looking at taking a 5 to 7 day hike on the AT in Mass. soon. Anyone know of a good and safe place to park my car for that length of time. Thanks for any input!!!

It's by far the best option. Folks have been reporting pretty good luck with the ATC list of shuttlers here as well.

If you are talking about ending near I-90 you can park at the next road crossing less than a half mile from I-90. I've parked there for several days without issues.

I have parked my car on Rt. 20 just north of I-90, In Cheshire at the rail trail lot, and Rt. 9 in Vt without any problems, And the Greylock club....many moons ago!
