Those of you who have used the Asics Kahana 5 trail runners for hiking, have you found any shoe you like better? I question if the 5's I have are in good enough shape for the next outing but I guess they've discontinued the 5's, which doesn't make a hellava lot of sense if you look at thier review ratings, looking for something to replace them with. Thanks.

Just get the 6.
Probably the same shoe, maybe different trim or color.

I may have to do that but the rating are lower for the 6's...dont know what the difference is. Shoe manufacturers have a habit of making a shoe I love and then changing it every year, used to use the Asics Kayono for running, love them, wore a pair out and bought the new revised ones, hated them.
