Stand by, a lot of Starbucks haters here, not me I love 'em.
It's not hate. Just a strong dislike from many that drink black coffee.

Amen, Brother! Real. Black. Coffee.
I ask for a shot added to whatever non-flavored stuff they have in the tank. I can tolerate it.

FWIW: Starbucks straight up black coffee is delicious........... and it's not really that expensive. :)

I'm not a Starbucks hater. I just dislike paying a premium for coffee that tastes burnt. It's OK in a demitasse, but over-roasted for morning java. Char-bucks is about right.
The shops usually have nice baked goods, so it's interesting to have one right on the Trail. But I can make coffee that I like better even in the field.

Never had a Starbucks, there's no cup of coffee worth what they charge.

Is Lou's in Hanover still in business? That used to be my favorite breakfast spot there.

Indeed, ate there the other morning. Portions so big I had to go for a ten mile hike to burn it off!
