im leaving for a maine section hike sept 8th, going from stratton to grafton notch. id like to leave my car at the notch and hike back to it.
anybody know shuttlers in the area?

Just did this drive yesterday, it is about 2 hours. The Stratton Motel/Maine Roadhouse does shuttles, and they charge by the hour (I think 35/hr or so).

Just checked site. 4.5 hours @ 160 dollars. You could hitch from motel in Stratton to trailhead, though for that price, they would probably just drive the few extra miles.

Last time I did a section up there, the Stratton Motel charged me $75 bucks for a shuttle from Stratton to Grafton Notch. $160 is outrageous. How'd you like to split a shuttle so it's $80 each? I could adjust my trip dates.
