I am planning on parking my car at Harpers Ferry. I need a ride from Harpers Ferry to Pen Mar Thursday or Friday of next week (August 11th or 12th). Preferably, around Noon on Thursday.
From Pen Mar I will hike the AT back to the car.
This is my test run to check out my gear and of course, myself.
Let me know if anyone is available to provide a ride.
You are welcome to join me if you like, however I may be too slow for you.
2 - 2 1/2 miles per hour with a light pack. Also, the longest hikes I've done lately are 6-8 miles. I try to get out on the AT once a week.
