Has anyone ever used soap with citronella in it before hiking? If so did you notice if it made a difference or not? I tried some a while back and Im not sure if it was just a hallucination or if it actually made a difference! the soap I used was a homemade Dog Soap ( im probably gonna pay for admitting that) made by a local organic soap shop.

You were Hallucinating. It only makes a difference in a lab situation. It does have a positive impact on the bottom line for organic shops.
