I got back from a 75 mile loop in the Alpine Lakes and now have it posted up. Even for me this is a long winded trip report. I know some people on the site don't like non-AT related things being posted, but this trip was really special to me. See

washington is a very nice state for hiking and it has many great trails. The area over towards lake chelan is nice also. If you can bare its rainy season its awsome state to live in I lived out on the sound in kyak ridge for awhile when i was in my early twentys and growing up their very pretty but Oregon rules the west:D ky

Hey man - I loved checking out your trip and it was even better to see you way more relaxed and enjoying yourself. That is why we do this.

Yeah, I really can't believe how much I'm enjoying the summer now, especially when I look back at the misery during the first month of it.
