There are a list of locals in both towns that will put up hikers. Lots of homes to stay for free. I didn't discover this on my thru-hike until I'd already booked a room @ a motel that was really inconvenient to Hanover or any other town. I don't recall the name off the top of my head. It was 2 miles or so out of town headed toward Lebanon.
