I took this photo in Maine, right off the AT. What is it? Is it Yellow Staghorn? It looks like McDonald's French fries to me :D

Don't know the name, but have seen and photographed it from Georgia to Maine myself. I look forward to someone being able to name it for us.

looks like a "jelly" fungus maybe(?) Great pic!

Could be Yellow Club fungi, might have to eat some to know for sure :eek:......

Also resembles Calocera Viscoasa. (a jelly fungi)

Corals are somewhat brittle and these (jelly) are more rubbery and just a bit sticky.
