I've been freezer bag cooking for years and have decided to move away from it and to just carry a bowl with me. Does anyone know of any kind of cylinder shaped container with a screw top lid that a Snowpeak 700 or 600 would fit in? I've been looking for awhile with no luck. Any help or recommendations would be much apperciated.

It ain't cheap, and I'm not totally sure what it is, but I came across this water bottle pot combo (http://www.powderfin.com/vargobottitaniumbottlepot.aspx). It's too narrow for the Snowpeak 700, but looks like the 600 would fit as well.
It's currently on sale at campsaver (http://www.campsaver.com/titanium-bot-bottle-pot).

I saw this awhile ago and your right at almost $100 that's not cheap. I'm really look for something made of plastic. Like a tupperware container or something. I know for the average person cooking in a cook pot doesn't seem lime a big idea but I just perfer to boil my water in mine and rehydrate in a plastic container. Plastic is just easier to clean and if it starts tk get nasty I cam toss it our and replace it with a new one.

Not if you're having this much problem trying to find one to begin with.

Ziploc makes a tall "twist n' lock" container that ULers sometimes use for beer can pots. Your mug might fit in this or something similar.

It sounds like you're looking to have a system where you keep your pot perpetually clean and only boil water in it, have a cup for mixing, and have the whole thing nest together.

If so, have you considered moving to a JetBoil? It will still cost you about $100, but you get a pot into which the stove and fuel canister nest in, and a cup that clips to the bottom. The JetBoil is pretty much designed to do one thing... boil water, and it does great at that because the pot has the integrated heat exchanger that partially doubles as a wind screen. The only thing I'm not sure about is if the cup is big enough. Some quick calculations indicate that it's only about 10oz in size.

Any reason you're set on a screw-on lid? If you're willing to go with a pop top, there are so many variations of plastic tupperwares, one of them will surely fit!

I found specifications on their size at HomeDepot (http://www.homedepot.com/p/Ziploc-16-oz-Twist-n-Loc-Round-Plastic-Storage-Container-Small-Lids-3-per-Pack-6-per-Carton-18036/204236345#.UjIAD8akp7c). Looks like a 700 should fit inside the small size (16oz) and would definitely fit in the large (they are basically the same, just twice as tall).

Thanks for all of the responses. I was considering getting a jetboil TI flash for awhile but the weight penalties doesn't justify it for me. Right now with my snowpeaks on the ocasion when I do use a stove I use a Litemax between and a 100g or 110g fuel canister that I can fit into my pots. But I really apperciate the recommendation.

I bought the one from ziplock that a fosters pot would fit in awhile ago. Also thanks for that recommendation. My 600 will fit in it but the top won't fit. I was hoping more for something that I could put my whole cookset in and seal the top. If it was just a little taller it would work perfectly.

I guess i should have been more specific in my inital post. I do a lot of SUL and UL backpacking and I carry verry low volume packs so I dont have the space to put a container in by itself. That and guess you can say i may have a little OCD in the way i pack lol. I just perfer for things to be in one place packaged together. I use a top load pack so it just makes it easier to just grab for one thing vs digging through my pack for multiple itens. I did considered using it for storing things like my headlamp and other odds and ends that I keep in my pack but decided against it because I didn't want the smell of food being attached to those items.

As for the screw top lid I just perfer it over the other options because its less prone to leaking. I know some people who will fill their containers up with whatever they plan to eat for dinner like pastas and so on amd put some water in their containers and carry it on the outside of their pack so as their hiking their food rehydrates so when its dinner time all they have to do is warm up a little water to warm their meal to help reduce fuel consumption and cooking time. Having a screw on top also helps from that perspective.

It looks like the one from Home Depo will work. I tried the two listed from Amazon already and no luck. Thanks so much for everyone's help :)
