Hello!

Anyone have some recommendations for a tarp that would work over a Warbonnet Blackbird and could be used on the ground with a Yama 1.25 bug net? Prefer not to have to get two tarps.

Thanks!

Any tarp that will provide coverage for your hammock should be fine for ground use. You can just lower it to the ground, or use trekking poles for support. Mammajamma, tadpole, etc.

As I researched the topic I found that most all of the small/cottage industry companies were well regarded. I also concluded that except for a few small detail differences the tarps offered were nearly the same.

Since you already have the Blackbird hammock go back and look at Warbonnet's tarps.

I use the Superfly tarp over my Blackbird. It's also made by Warbonnet. It has "doors" for more privacy and better weather coverage. Check it out.
