At 22.4 oz its not a Montbell Alpine Light, which I own, but the First Ascent jacket has a waterproof outer layer making it a possible choice for the Appalachian cold, damp, wet winters (I do most of my backpacking trips and camping Fall through Spring rather than Summer).
Does anybody own the Microtherm Jacket?
