Campsites Available At Baxter State Park

I would like to give my campsites to someone for a reduced rate!!

Hello everyone...
I have campsites reserved at Baxter State Park in Maine for 4 nights- Monday, August 15th through Thursday, August 18th that I cannot use, and I cannot get a refund from the park.
Monday & Tuesday nights are in the northern part of the park at Trout Brook Farm campsite, and Wednesday & Thursday nights are at Abol campsite near Katahdin.
Each site is either a lean-to or a tent site, and can accommodate 4 people.

Baxter sucks. They could sell those sites in a heartbeat. No reason they can't refund your $. Prolly state policy .

If you can't find somebody, maybe you can arrange to "donate" them to thru-hikers.

It's too bad they are not for the dates that I need - I would even pay you for them!! Oh well...

Donating them to thru hikers sounds like a good idea...if I know of anyone that can use them that is currently hiking...will let you know..

yeah baxter does suck.once they get your money,they never give it back no matter what the reason...thanks alot buzz
