View Full Version : I like potato chip hiking.
Hope everyone is getting out to enjoy kicking around the yellow, orange, maroon, brown, etc potato chips. I also enjoy hearing them float down through the trees like fluttering frozen rain drops and watching them dance around on the surface of a stream or pond like they are practicing for the ballet.
Love the aromas of Fall too - butterscotch, caramel, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
And, who doesn't enjoy less crowded trails, day time highs around 70*, and night time lows around freezing? Love that first frost on the newly fallen colorful leaves too.

That's the motivation!
Waiting on Wednesday to begin the hike from Springer back here to Erwin... .. :)
And they make a lovely pattern as they land on a hammock tarp when it's raining.
Waiting on Wednesday to begin the hike from Springer back here to Erwin... .. :) Me too... The waitin' til Wednesday part anyway... Finishing my yo-yo of PA. Port Clinton to DWG... With the Hunters moon on Friday 10K, you should be outta GA. by then :D...
Oh so good memories! I must settle for our photos and a peak or three from windows this fall and maybe a dayhike or two. Next year will be different!!
I like home made Peach Brandy, some BBQ chips and a little bite of the family recipe.

I also like toast
apple butter.and toast.
whats cool about the fall is the angle of the sun continues to get lower and the light changes, takes on a softer touch, with the afternoon vistas painted in a golden hue.the night skies are brighter as well.

I just got off the ph with my little bro and we were just saying the same things about the light and clear night skies.
