college break for thru hike!

Long story short I failed at a thru in 2012 right out if high school. Mindset had the wrong reasons for the hike. Two years later I feel like I know why I will hike. After this semester I'm half way through college and need a break. I need stress relief and I find that in the trail. I WILL attempt to go all the way this year.

Just get out for the summer- hit the trail when school ends and see what happens. You'll enjoy yourself more with no pressure. Once the stress melts away see where the trail takes you. More and more college age folks are splitting the trail over the course of two summers so they don't lose a semester. I think that's really super neat-o awesome.
