However, albeit a little biased, but he does make some key points here. Especially the ones on Giardiea. Curious of others commets on this.
One point in particular is where he points to that most backcountry illness does not come from the cyst since the incubation period is about 2 weeks. MOST (Not including longdistance and thruhikers here) hikers are only out for a few days at most and more likely caught the bug somewhere else and not on the trail. Especially if he became ill over the weekend or not long after.
Anyway, good article, but I feel he makes a couple of dangerous points. Perhaps he should re write it. MHO.
