i hiked with most of these guys in the south this spring, saw them again in ny and maine.good kids even did some trail maintenance.she posted this video on you tube, nicely done and the song at the very end was cool:

I almost stopped watching myself, the GA music was worse than awful. NC was good. Thats where I am now.

Nice job Starfail, some really great pictures!! You guys had a lot of fun. It was nice seeing familiar faces.

Nudity, drinking, cute gals, cross-dressing, guys making out, nice scenery, a scraggly looking dude and a stuffed skunk. What's not to like. Turn the audio off until they get to Big K if your delicate musical sensitivity is so greatly disturbed, but don't miss the last tune. Do you know that hiker's name HB?

Nice vid... I skipped through a lot of it but it was great to see you, HB & Pepe!! LOVED the song at the end. :cool:
Just one word of caution about jumping off the James River foot bridge.... most people that jump off don't have any problems but I will tell you that someone jumped off a few years ago & never came back up. :( The rocks under the water are not kind to some jumpers....

I enjoyed the video (except for the music on the "Georgia" portion,which I muted). The joy of their hike shines throughout the entire video.

Is Starfail a WB member?nope.met her and her brother in the smokies. her parents are both former thru hikers, her brother,sublime thru'd last year, came out and hiked the south with her, then again in nh and maine.in gatlinburg her dad told rasty he was doing it wrong(he was sectioning the smokies with me). we cracked up.
i hiked with her and this kid homebrew from erwin to damascus,had so much fun.great kids

One bad song, one bad state (sorry)- doesn't ruin a hike or a video.

My sister lives in Lido Beach, I was there the weekend of the 14th and 15th. I was just behind Long Island for a real long time.

my best day on the trail was with homebrew and starfail slackpacking back to erwin.camped with aquaman quite a few times, met him at noc in franklin

I met them in Penn. and hiked with them off and on until I had to go to my sons wedding when i was near Great Barrington. I was off for 5 days and never saw them again.

I started April 8th. I think i reached Damascus on May 13th.
It was a good Video and I liked the Music..She did a good job..:cool:
