With nights getting longer, I'd like to be a bit more comfortable on short weekend trips while lounging around in the evenings and reading in my tent. I have a 20 inch wide thermarest prolite and thinking about buying the trekker chair kit.

At 9.5 ounces, it isn't something I would carry on a thru hike but seems tolerable for a couple of nights out. Any opinions on this product or other alternatives would be great. I find that reading while lying in my tent isn't all that comfortable. And I can't go to sleep at 6pm and sleep for 12-13 hours.

I've got this and occasionally take it. It's comfortable enough. I worry a little about puncturing my sleeping pad, but so far it's been good.

I have one similar....anything under a lb. or so for a luxury item I can pretty much handle.
