Hi everyone! When do these plants bloom? I sure don't want to miss them and might arrange my thru-hike to see them! (I know they are not animals, but this is the closest forum I could find). thanks!

My azaleas bloom in late April thru May. Rhododendron a month later. I've seen Laurel blooming all summer long depending on elevation/microclimate. If you are doing a thru in the late spring/early summer in the south, as is typical, you will not be able to miss the blooms of these and many other wildflowers. Happy trails!

Don't forget about the blaze orange flame azaleas down south here. Usually around mid-spring into early summer. :)
