The area of concern is north and east of Monson & Greenville, just north of the AT and east of Moosehead Lake.

Curously there seemed to be more sentiment for the development at the Hallowell meeting which is in south central Maine than there was in the three northern venues.

I haven't had a chance to read all the media articles so I dont know how many people showed up at the Moose River session but there was a total of about 850 people at the other three sites. Greenville 400, Hallowell 300 and Rockwood 150. That is a fair amount of people to show up for a hearing of this type in Maine. There are lots of strong feelings on this one.
