These are the sections of the Florida Trail on the Herbert Hoover Dike that are closed this season:

The following are the changes since last years posting on this subject:
The section from Moore Haven to Lake Port was closed, is now open (and paved).
The section from Belle Glade Marina to Canal Point was closed, now open. (re-paved)
The section from Clewiston to South Bay was open on weekends and holidays now closed seven days a week.
Unchanged: Still closed from Canal Point to Port Mayaca and still closed from Liberty Point to Moore Haven.
Sobo AT trip I must abandon due to lack of gear to cope with this coming single digit temps. Planning to hit the Florida trail ASAP. (JAN2)
